This format includes a header countdown that, after user interaction, displays an immersive video with a transparent background that overlays the entire screen above the site. There are two types of interaction the user can perform to activate the immersive video:

  1. By clicking anywhere on the screen.
  2. After performing mouse over on the header, following the countdown.

Once the immersive video finishes, a second Skin screen appears, where we can see the header video again in its expanded version.
If the user clicks a second time on the creative, they are redirected to the advertiser’s landing page.

Requirements:

  • Piece dimensions: 1920x1000px. It is essential to use the templates, as dimensions alone are not enough information to correctly create the pieces.
  • Both versions for desktop (1000px and 1200px) must be prepared.
  • The essential content must be placed within the template’s safe zones (green areas), as they define the limits of the piece that will always be visible on any screen, regardless of its size.
  • Two videos are used: a content video (in the header) and a transition video (immersive with transparency).

Content Video

  • Aspect ratio: 16:9.
  • Recommended duration: 20 seconds.
  • Accepted formats: .mp4 or .webm.
  • Best resolution available. The video will be recompressed/recoded for web use.

Immersive Video:
A video with alpha (transparency) must be prepared, maximum 5 seconds in HD quality or higher. Accepted formats:

  • Video with transparent background in .mov format, using Apple ProRes 4444 codec.
  • Image sequence in .png format, indicating the frame rate for composition. Both videos will be published in the piece exactly as received, meaning they will not be edited or modified in any way beyond dimension/file size adjustments by WEMASS.

What to send:
Video materials:
- Video with alpha (transparency) according to the specifications mentioned.
- Video in mp4 format according to the specifications mentioned.
Skin Materials:
- PSD file of the skin created using the attached template. If sending the editable file, also include the fonts used in case text editing is needed.

Immersive Skin Video Mobile

The mobile version of the Immersive Skin Video is equivalent to a generic Skin video.

  • Asset dimensions: 900x900px. It is mandatory to use the templates, as the dimensions alone are not sufficient to correctly create the asset.
  • Essential content must be placed within the safe areas of the template (green zones), as these define the parts of the asset that will always be visible on any screen, regardless of its size.
  • The video can be positioned within the asset in the following locations: top, centered, or bottom.
  • The video adapts responsively to the width of the safe area if the viewing device’s screen is too small.
  • Recommended video format:
    • Aspect ratio: 16:9
    • Recommended duration: maximum 20 seconds.
    • Highest available resolution. The video will be recompressed/re-encoded for web use.
    • The video will be published in the asset exactly as received, meaning it will not be edited or modified in any way other than adjusting dimensions/file size.

What to send:
Video materials:
- Video in mp4 format according to the specifications mentioned.
Skin Materials:
- PSD file of the skin, created using the attached template. If sending the editable file, also include the fonts used in case text editing is necessary.
